Laotian yellow stone, primarily referring to Tianhuang stone from northern Laos, is a high-quality seal stone produced in Laos and belongs to the pyrophyllite mineral. It is formed from mother ore tumbling into streams and eroded over millions of years. It has strong wax properties, a good luster, and stable properties. Its surface is warm and often has a stone skin, some with radish-like patterns and red veins.
