Pine Artistry

In traditional Chinese culture, pine, bamboo and plum are called the "Three Friends of Winter" because they can survive the cold winter. The pine tree in particular represents the spiritual quality of not losing integrity in adversity. Therefore, the pine tree also symbolizes the personality traits of integrity, nobility and perseverance, which are the virtues of a gentleman advocated by Confucianism.
